Slow Seismic Slip Event Underway in Pacific Northwest. If the Northwest falls into the sea in the next two weeks, someone pick up my fantasy team.
The first line of the article seems odd: "An important seismic event imperceptible to humans has begun in the Pacific Northwest as predicted, according to the government agency Geological Survey of Canada." Not the Canada part (or, not only that part), but the connection between the "imperceptible to humans" part and the "as predicted" part. So is it perceptible, but only to Canadians? But aren't they human? Or predictions can be verified even if they are imperceptible?
I was just checking the specs on the............(well, you know).
