American Morning

The CNN morning crew has been all over their guests today. Soledad O'Brien's interview with the Director of Homeland Security was a mess. Miles O'Brien and the Mississippi governor were yelling at one another by the end of the interview. Clearly the O'Briens have it in their heads that the story is going to be that the Bush administration dropped the ball and are responsible for subsequent deaths. Miles was much more reasonable than Soledad-- she wasn't even listening to the answers before making her next accusation. I was willing to forgive the CNN morning crew when they could barely disguise their glee as the storm got worse. They couldn't have known how bad it would be, after all. But now they have their take on the story and they aren't going to listen to any accounts contrary to it.
