Speaking of Google, if you have the chance, and Computer memory, check out earth.google.com. It's like google maps, but is 3-D and is world wide. It's pretty cool.
I used it in my classes as a first day-type ice-breaker. The kids loved it. We zoomed in on one of Sadaam's former palaces and checked out his pools. It's also been very useful in going backpacking as you can tilt the view to get a nice 3D view of what you'll be hiking through.

Not to brag, but I have to claim the Big Tent scoop on Google Earth. Greg, thanks for the tip on using it in the classroom. Sounds like a cool idea.
