Google's advance towards dominance of the virtual world continues: Google Earth. I've spent the past hour or so trying it out, and let me tell you it is very cool. Make sure you give the tour a try. Set out some directions between two points, then press the "play" button underneath the turn-by-turn instructions.
One warning. The hardware requirements are quite steep, in case you have an older computer.
