Goldberg's critics have forgotten more about history than Goldberg knows. Goldberg clearly does not understand Progressivism. he clearly does not understand fascism. And he is gallingly selective in his presentation of the evidence. In an email exchange with him he told me I needed to read Hamby's "For the defense of Democracy" before talking with him. I told him to look on the page that pointed out that I was Hamby's research assistant on the book for two years. He might have read the book. he just clearly did not understand it.
"Liberal Fascism" is a terrible work of history. But it is Goldberg at his "best": dishonest, sloppy, and hackish.
