I don't get many gasps in my general ed. history course, but the difference between white and black, degree and no degree, got some serious gasps from a bunch of 16 year olds. The only variable lacking, in my opinion, from the graph is the type of job, or better, the salary. Hispanics seem to be doing much better than African Americans, but doing what type of work? For what pay?

That's a useful tool. I'm showing it to all my classes today.
Effects virtually negligible for the Big Tent crowd and readers like me. Sobering.
