Update: This picture was taken by a Ph.D. candidate in history at the University of South Carolina named Becky. She's a friend of Stephen from grading AP exams, and she came up to visit Kansas this past weekend--which is when we got to meet her for the first time. She studies something having to do with something, but I was too busy chasing my nearly two year old around a beautiful north Topeka home to get the details. I do know that she takes excellent pictures of rebel francophobia.
Everyone (all three of you) please give a warm Big Tent welcome to Becky.

Thank you! That's exactly what I said. Hmmmm...well there's the old standard "Killer Miller" that I got as a swimmer and then, subsequently, a swim coach (my students think it's pretty accurate too). There's "Southern Belle Becky," but anyone who really knows me knows that I'm hardly a Southern Belle, despite the Southern roots.
What do you think Steve? Since it was your idea for the nickname, whatcha got for me??
