An interesting quote from Sarkozy: choosing him and Ms. Royal, voters “clearly marked their wish to go to the very end of the debate between two ideas of the nation, two programs for society, two value systems, two concepts of politics." That may be, but it doesn't look like he'll get the kind of mandate he would need to take on a program to really change society and values.
