No it won't. It will mean quite the opposite. It is easy to be resentful toward Harvard, but this is a good thing, will open up opportunity for kids who cannot afford to take the risk of early admissions becaiuse of financial aid, and opens the playing field. other elite schools will follow. Anyone who thinks Harvard is spiralling away from being a top school simply does not understand academia. Like it or hate it, Harvard is probably the most influential and respected university in the world. It will continue to be so. This decision warrants our respect, not our scorn.
