Self-Promotion

Derek and I have written an op-ed that is now being distributed to newspapers all over the country by History News Service. We will see if it catches on anywhere, but in the meantime, here it is:

Keep in mind that in many ways Derek and I are on opposite ends of the political spectrum. We disagree vehemently on all sorts of issues. But we found a way to work together on this article. Considering our country's fractured political environment, I'm very proud of this collaboration, and we plan to do more of it in the future. (And, of course, we hope our readers get something out of it, too.)
