Academic Hiring

Over at DCAT, Derek has reproduced and commented on an article that describes an all-too-familiar phenomenon in academic hiring.

In many ways, it's nice not to be in that market anymore.

I couldn't read it because of the tears in my eyes. Try adding, "I do political history," and "I am a conservative," to the list.
