Energy Policies, with Zest

In response to a reader Victor Davis Hanson gives the short version of his ideas:

We should: take all tariffs off imported ethanol, build nuclear plants, encourage electric and hybrid commuter cars for at least one auto of each family fleet, drill on our coasts and in the Arctic beyond even ANWAR, up the MPG average of our fleets, and start gasification from shale and coal on a mammoth scale. Then the world would snooze when infantiles in Hamas parade shooting their guns or some nut in Iran blabbers about listening to voices in a well.
