The Ohio University History Graduate Student Association is running a graduate student conference in conjunction with the 2006 Baker Peace Conference. The theme is "Religion, Violence, and Human Rights."

We can confirm that Dennis Ross will be the keynote speaker at this year's Baker. We already have some interesting submissions for the graduate conference so its looking like its going to be a good event.
Wow -- OU has this great conference, and now, finally, they decide to link it with a showcase for grad students in Athens and beyond? Good for them, on the one hand. But as I recall there was a group of us who would have liked to have seen that happen many years ago. It's about time. Good luck with it!
