Today's Bleat is a perfect example of why Lileks is so likable. He's not really being pretentious when he describes having Michael Medved over to the house. But his fear of pretentiousness is genuine, and the disclaimers--"I’m so smart with such smart famous friends"--are pitch perfect. Excellent.
The Screedblog is a recording of Medved's interview with Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey. 'No comment' is right.
