I think Senator Clinton has generally done a good job as a senator.
There, I said it.
Sure, she might be calculating in order to get to the White House, but she keeps voting the right way (except on Alito). We can suspect that she is really a closet Stalinist who hates America, but politicians have to be judged on their actions, not their words (or our dime store media psychoanalysis). Her actions have been pretty darn good, especially considering the state of her party. If a Democrat is to win in 2008, we could do a lot worse than Hillary Clinton.
