Essential Resource

Cambridge is about to release a new version of the Historical Statistics of the United States. Here is a short article that lays out some of the numbers that can be found in the volumes. It as an absolutely essential resource for historians of the United States. It should not be that expensive. Still, I'm thinking about selling a kidney to pay for a copy.

Tom --
Interesting that you posted this. While I was gone I got the flyer from Cambridge and am going in today to order it from the library.
This would be high on the absurd self-indulgent purchases list, behind getting the unabridged Oxford English Dictionary.
