What did I say that would give you reason to object? Pettit doesn't know the difference between a discussion and a food fight; and, the last time I heard, military history had something to do with aggression.
I forgot to point out that what I said to Pettit came at the end of a _long_ string of ad hominem comments by him about my colleague, KC Johnson. KC offered no insult in return. It was time for someone to point out to Pettit that his personal attacks on KC had reached beyond the annoying.
