Captain Capitalism

Hey folks! I've been distracted recently and this isn't quite timely, but I thought I should toss out some suggestions for making money. This is going to be a bit of a list but they all have three factors in common 1) the companies make money 2) the companies have real growth potential and 3) people will pay high option premiums on these companies. In no particular order, they are

Motorola Inc. (MOT)
Broadcom Corp. (BRCM)
Tidewater Inc. (TDW)
Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR)
Patterson-UTI Energy Inc. (PTEN)
Chesapeake Energy Corp. (CHK)
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Inc. (TEVA)
NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA)
Conceptus Inc. (CPTS)
Ensco International Inc. (ESV)
Alkermes Inc. (ALKS)
Biovail Corp. (BVF)
Arch Coal Inc. (ACI)
Human Genome Sciences Inc. (HGSI)
Eclipsys Corp. (ECLP)

A few words of warning. Some of these have already or are making big run ups, and may now have a limited upside - check the recent stock price history. The preliminary GDP report released the other day was unexpected, and in my opinion, some of its numbers were very squirrelly - expect some market volatility as the numbers shake out. Finally, the situation with Iran could go in many directions, few of which will be good for the market - don't bet it all on one horse. 'Nuff said. Now go forth and make some money.
