Bush

read the Mao bio.

Update, by Tom: According to the article, he has read some other books that might be of interest:

"To be honest, I'm not sure that it's so weird for him to be reading this," said Doris Kearns Goodwin, the author most recently of "Team of Rivals," a best-selling account of Abraham Lincoln's relationship with his cabinet that, McClellan said, Bush finished before starting the Mao book. (Over the past year Bush's reading has also included, McClellan said, "Nine Parts of Desire: The Hidden World of Islamic Women," by Geraldine Brooks; "When Trumpets Call: Theodore Roosevelt After the White House," by Patricia O'Toole; and "1776," by David McCullough.)
