Steynathon

Okay, so here is your weekly update of Steyn. He's after the Democrats again.

At his homepage, he's advertising his round-up of great Christmas movie moments. It is worth a look.

But go ahead and scroll down to the next article, which is his New Criterion review of the play Lennon, about the late Beatle. You absolutelly must read it. It is Steyn at his best. Two samples:

Years ago, a female singer friend and I used to joke about creating a fictional vocalist called Melisma Queen who held the world record for the number of syllables she could get out of the word “love.” There’s a lot of that going on here.
Incidentally, if you rearrange the letters in "Melisma Queen" you get "Christina Aguilera."
