It did not get any press that I saw, but the first volume of the long-anticipated and no doubt definitive history of the Korean War in English came out early last month. Allan R. Millett, The War for Korea, 1945-1950: A House Burning.
There are lots of good people at the University Press of Kansas; they simply must do more to advertise this book.
