Derek has a new article through History News Service. I disagree with a few of the smaller details and interpretations, but I think his main argument, that President Bush lacked a foreign policy vision coming in and still hasn't quite figured it out, is spot on.
This is an example of thoughtful criticism. Congrats to Derek on getting another op-ed through HNS--it was grueling, I know--and kudos on such a good job.
