Did anyone but me suffer all the way through the Vikings-Bengals game this weekend? To me, this was almost beyond words. It wasn't that the Vikes created an abomination - I'm used to that by now - it was that they did it two weeks in a row (check week one). I've been a Vikings fan since before most of you were born and I have never seen such a consistently high level of suck in Minnesota's finest. Hey, cheer up, doesn't every NFL team average four interceptions and three fumbles per game?
I am in hell.

I'm a Lions fan...the team that let Barry Sanders (the best running back ever) go to keep coach Marty 'I never had a winning season' Morningway. I still cry to sleep thinking about it. Oh, and in case you didn't see it, Joe "Blue Sky" Harrington had 5 INT's in their 38 to 6 loss in Chicago.
What the hell happened to the NFC north?

Rob, back off, Joey is a wonderful piano player.
*snicker*
I am a 49ers fan. And I have Culpepper, Burleson, and Wiggins on my fantasy team. How do you think I am doing in my league?
Total butchery of the spelling of Marty Mornhinweg. The Bucs are back, baby. I just wish they were back in that cake NFC north division so they could beat those teams 'black and blue'.
If I cared how Marty spells his last name, I would have looked it up. You ask pretty much any Lions fan what the stupidest move in the last 15 years, at least and it would be letting Barry go. What the hell where they thinking. I'm pretty sure you could here "What the..." across the entire state of Michigan and Northwest Ohio when that nugget was passed along. Oh, and Stephen, I would feel bad except for the fact the the Lions have never won the Super Bowl and haven't had a League Championship since....drum roll please...... 1957. Oh, and to make matters worse, I'm a Cubs fan.

What did they ever win WITH Barry Sanders??? They made it to the playoffs, what, one time, in 1990 or something. Don't worry, I realize his greatness, I'm not treading on him. But I would trade the greatest running back for a great coach who can design an offensive scheme to utilize an average or above average back. I also realize that Morningweigh was not that guy.
Paul,
You had me worried there for a minute. The problem is that the Lions haven't had a good coach since, well I don't know. We were really looking forward to Marriucci (sp?) but that hasn't panned out. Oh well. At least I get to have fun screaming at my T.V. on Sundays.
