Is there a single good reason why we aren't selling war bonds? Seriously. I want to know.
If not, and I suspect not, I propose we start a real grassroots movement to get our elected representatives to allow us to make some kind of contribution to the war effort. I'm serious about this.
Tell your friends, email other blogs, contact your elected representatives, whatever it takes. Our leadership keeps telling us we are at war but then doesn't ask us to make the any sacrifices. Jeez, it's not like we can't afford it.
