This was not nice news to wake up to this morning when I turned on my computer. Jennings was always my preferred American news anchor, and not just because he was Canadian. He had a way of delivering the news that lent it the weight and importance it needed, a way that most other news anchors just don't have. At the same time, he could personalize the news, no matter what sort of story it was. The daily emails he would send to subscribers best demonstrated these abilities, especially when his voice spoke through the dry abstracts of the upcoming stories, which it usually did. He will be missed.
