What society of enablers allowed this child -- and that is what he is, a child -- to think that in the NFL it is improper for a coach to tell a player to shut up?
I personally think the Eagles should put the baby on injured reserve and make him sit for the year. Just a thought.

Another reason why King is still probably the best NFL watcher. Not only is he inside, but he's smart enough to be able to do something with that access.
Personally, my wish for Owens is that he flame out, waste all his money, and in five years find himself having to sign autographs in Podunk at 5cents a pop just to get by. Not likely, I know, but maybe it would teach him some humility (and hopefully every person coming up to him for those autographs would tell him to shut up).
See I don't care if he gets the money. I figure that is kind of the Eagles fault for signing him in the first place. In fact, it might be better to give him the money and then make him sit. Then maybe he will learn that no one cares about his hurt feelings or wacked sense of honor, all anyone cares about TO is that he can play wide receiver.
The window for an NFL player is pretty small. Taking away a year in his prime would be a great lesson, even if he doesn't get it now.
At this point TO has ruined his own career/legacy. He had the potential to be up their among the greats, as well as a having the charisma to draw a huge fan base. At this point, no team with a shot at the playoffs is going to want to even come near him. He has shown by his action this offseason that he is a cancer for team chemistry. I do not know for sure if he has a no-trade clause, or something that allows him to dictate where he goes, but I really wish the Eagles could send him to the Bengals (sorry to any of you from Ohio who cheer for them, I would say send him to the other hopeless situation in San Francisco, my team, but we have already had him). I'd like to see Donovan McNabb go to Dallas, walk out to midfield, take a sharpie, void TO's contract, and just leave it there.
