There are many obituaries for Peter Jennings floating around all the various media right now, but I wanted to link this one because it is by a former colleague of his, who you could also say was a protege and someone who followed much of the same life and career path: Peter Jennings' gifts.
Also, it spoke to a lot of the reasons why I always liked Jennings, including this quote: "After he handed it [an American flag] to me he said, 'take this home, treat it with respect, and remember to never take the easy road of defining your Canadian identity by denigrating this great country.'"
