Will Marshall tells his fellow Democrats, "It's National Security, Stupid," and warns against the party being highjacked by the anti-American left. There is plenty to disagree with in there, but generally these are positions I can get behind.
Just imagine the debate candidates could have if leading Democrats adopted this stance. Wow. Must read.
(Unfortunately, there are loud voices out there who still don't get it.)

Let's cross our fingers and hope Democrats get the message--for the sake of maintaining the Democratic Party as part of the two-party system.
