Iraqi Constitution
Charles Krauthammer argues against an Iraqi constitution, at least for now: Shelve This Deadline. While I agree that six weeks is maybe too short a time to put together a proper constitution, we all know how useful deadlines can be when it gets down to it. And while Iraq may have more pressing needs than a constitution right now, I still think that writing a formal constitution is a vital and necessary step in Iraq's new future.
