He has a point. Hanson's response hints at the important point: whether or not there were plenty of Baby Boomers who did not think or act the way the protesters and revionists did, they let the protesters and revisionists speak for their generation.
However, if we are going to go back and provide a more balanced and accurate picture of the era, we're going to have to give voice to those who would not speak up for themselves. That is where Owen's is correct.
