Employment Report
The Bureau of Labor Statistics just released the nonfarm payroll numbers for February. Good news - they report 262,000 new jobs, substantially higher than the number the markets were expecting. In the larger economic arena, this is almost a perfect number. It means that the broad economy is strong and growing without squeezing the labor market or adding inflationary pressure.
