Allow me to get on my high horse and express my shock, indignation, and horror at the actions of this teacher in Louisiana. She punished a seven-year-old for explaining to another student what the word "gay" meant. Where do these people come from, and do they have an ounce of decency in them? The story is so outrageous that I did not believe it until I saw the scan of the actual contract that the student was forced to sign acknowledging his behavior. And the school board did nothing. And the teacher sued. That is right. The teacher sued the student's mother, not the other way around.
