Jonathan Chait Loses It

The only thing I can conclude after reading this Jonathan Chait article in the LA Times is that Chait wants Bush to aggressively enact a radical, socially conservative agenda. Interpretations like this one lead me to believe that the Democrats are not learning the right lessons from this election. That may be good for the Republican Party, but it is bad for the country. I hope Democrats will ignore stuff like this. There have been plenty of other bloggers linking to some of the insanity over on slate.com, so I won't bother, but Chait is a moderately important liberal thinker. I think he needs to think about the election results a little more.
