Stunt

Time for a stunt. Bush should go on television and say he is going to burst the speculative bubble driving up oil prices by releasing the strategic oil reserves. This may be bad precedent and terrible policy, but it would be great politics. His job approval ratings would pick up ten points. He could put himself on the side of the working class against the big bad Wall St. speculators and OPEC. He may want to wait until the middle of next week to do it though.
