Don't know how much coverage this is getting outside of Chicago, but it's a pretty big story here: Fugitive nabbed for 1969 crime. I've actually spent quite a bit of time at this library over the past month, although not in any contact with the librarians. I haven't been there since the arrest, but it might be interesting to gauge the mood once I return.
