Malkin and Matthews

I am for profiling based on nationality and religion when it come to things like airport security, and I think that is the main point of Michelle Malkin's newest book (which I have not read), but calling the book "In Defense of Internment" and possibly actually defending the internment Japanese Americans in World War II and advocating anything like that for Arabs or Muslims in America now is obnoxious. With that out of the way, Malkin's treatment by Chris Matthews on Hardball was obnoxious.

Keith Olbermann chiming in reminds me of something else. Sports Illustrated did a piece on Chris Berman in this week's issue, and it was one of the worst longer essays I've ever read in that magazine, in part because they relied way too much on Olbermann, who came off as a pompous, jealous, pseudo-intellectual ass.
