The article you link to is a little to friendly to the Inquisition. All you have to do is read some Inquisition of the testimonies and outcomes available on-line at the World History sourcebooks and you get a reality check. Yes, for Catholics the Inquisition wasn't that bad, although if you lived in Spain and were a converso it sucked, big time. And quite frankly, at specific times and places, like what happened to the Cathars (a fascinating group) it sucked royally. David Salmanson
