British Servicemen

The six Marines and two sailors arrested by Iran on Monday were released yesterday. I think this incident had more to do with Iranian internal politics than it did relations with the West. The conservatives are betting that if they move the mullahs into the background and let the Revolutionary Guards, the demonstrated protectors of Iran, take a more public role in the government, then they will be able to hold onto power.
