Here is a perfect example of why I like Sports Guy and don't like Wiley. Sports Guy is accessible and funny. Wiley writes too cute by half, so he's tuogh to follow sometimes. And he's angry. Now, far be it for me to dismiss angry out of hand, but Wiley's not angry in the oh-he's-flipping-out-like-Chris-Farley-screaming-For-the-LOVE-OF-GOD sort of way, he's angry in the Tim-Robbins-I-take-myself-too-seriously-and-I-hate-the-injustice-of-the-world sort of way. I don't think Wiley is like that all the time, but enough to make me feel generally unhappy when I get to the end of his columns. Still, the exchange seems to have lightened up Wiley--and that's a good thing.
