What happened to Haiti? I thought the news would be filled with pieces criticizing the Bush administration. Didn't the sharp spear of imperialism, the U.S. Marines, force Aristide out of the country at gunpoint? Didn't they crush the democratic aspirations of an oppressed people? Don't Democrats, compassionate creatures that they are, care about this injustice? Wasn't a certain fat, black U.S. representative from New York going to have hearings on the matter? Or could it be that the critics were full of crap? Hmm. Looks to me like the Marines helped Aristide safely run away, settled the violence in two days, succesfully operated in a multinational coalition with France, Canada, and Chile, and the administration actually knocked one out of the park. Yup, they were full of crap.
