The headlines on the Washington Post's website regarding the President's daily briefing are misleading.

The PDB, if anyone bothers to read it, says what Rice indicated. The WP headline, "Bush Warned of Possible Attacks Before Sept. 11," while technically true, also implies that Bush was warned about the Sept. 11 attacks before they happened. That is not true.

The funny thing is that the news agencies are doing Kerry's work for him. Kerry has remained silent on the subject for the most part. The news coverage today smells like 1992 all over again.
