I saw Secretary of Commerce, Don Evans, interviewed on CNBC last week. He's sharp and I'm surprised the administration hasn't used him more as a frontman on economic issues. Besides that, one interesting fact that Sec Evans threw out, and I'm sure were going to hear ad nauseum before November, is that Senator Kerry has voted to raise taxes more than 350 times. I almost fell off my couch when I heard that. If the Bush campaign can't make some serious political hay out of that, they deserve to lose. But I bet they're planning on beating Kerry bloody with that little tidbit of a factoid.
