Taxes

Andrew Sullivan wants a flat tax. I want to have as much capital as Teresa Heinz Kerry, half a billion dollars, and pay the same income tax rate, twelve percent. Maybe that's the same thing as a flat tax, except for everybody.

    Doesn't Teresa get most of her income from corporate dividends? And didn't Bush abolish the dividend tax?

    What's the matter? Don't like Bush's tax cuts? Going to blame the Dems for that too?
